The Great Loop: Dec. 8-9.
One the things that makes doing the Loop special are the people you meet by happenstance. We were anchored at Perdido Key, near Pensacola with a few other boats. On our way to the beach to watch the sunset we stopped by another boat. The owner happened to be a retired TopGun Flight Instructor. We mentioned to him that we had hoped to visit the National Naval Aviation Museum. It is located on the Pensacola Air Force in Pensacola (home of the Blue Angels) & requires a military personnel escort to enter the base. We were over the moon when he volunteered to pick us up the next day & give us a personal tour of the museum. It was fascinating listing to his stories.
We ended our short stay in Pensacola with a trip to Joe Pattiās Seafood shop. Colin was in seafood heaven.

Hey you two – obviously having way too much fun down there… Good catch for the museum tour! Am hoping you are well away from what looks like a mammoth weather system just reaching here by tomorrow morning and carrying through to Friday. Gave your daughter a few winter driving tips through Brooke for her trip west – Brooke apparently visited while out on the coast bugging her sister… and has managed to receive an offer to start with CORE architects for an interior design position back here after things slowed down in her current gig. And so it goes… travel safely, stay healthy and enjoy – your envious friend, Marcus
